Cookie and local storage notice
1. Current release
On an ordinary visit, the site sets no analytics cookie and stores no analytics identifier in localStorage or sessionStorage. There is no analytics cookie, and the site writes no analytics identifier to localStorage or sessionStorage. When the homepage loads and the browser still holds the old havoc-motion-mode-v1 key, a reduced value is moved to the active key and other values are removed; if storage access is blocked, the old key is ignored. Form data is not persisted in browser storage.
2. Browser analytics and measurement
Netlify Web Analytics, when enabled for the project, uses CDN logs and does not justify an “Accept” or “Reject” button. As a CDN-log service, it runs no browser analytics, has no analytics cookie and loads no advertising pixel. If we introduce a non-essential client-side tracker in the future, we will update this notice and the consent mechanism before enabling it.
3. Local storage inventory
Active localStorage key: havoc-motion-mode-v2
Purpose: the havoc-motion-mode-v2 preference is stored only after you explicitly choose a motion mode.
Allowed values: cinematic and reduced.
Creation: when the visitor changes the site's motion control or, once, when an old reduced choice is migrated to the active key.
Persistence: until the choice changes or browser site data is cleared.
Migration: the old reduced choice is preserved; the old cinematic choice is not transferred so the compact interface becomes the default.
4. Removing the saved choice
You can remove the key through your browser's site-data controls. Clearing it restores the site's default motion policy.
5. Future services
If a future non-essential service is introduced, it will remain disabled until an appropriate consent mechanism and an updated notice are in place.
